The care of older people

The core work of the Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson is the organisation and delivery of supported housing and residential care to nearly 60 older people.  James, in his capacity as Chief Executive officer 1998 - 2009 oversaw all aspects this work.

Health and Social Care

James Woodward has a long-standing interest in the nature of health care and its practice in a number of settings in the UK. He was a non-executive Director of Solihull Primary Care Trust from 2003 to 2006. He is particularly concerned with systems of care which promote patient empowerment, models of whole person care and interdisciplinary working.
