The NLPC series has established itself as a useful set of guides for those wanting to expand their knowledge and improve their pastoral practice. This volume will explore the nature of theological reflection. It will equip its reader to engage in the creative activity of doing theology in the light of belief and practice. The book will make extensive use of case study material as a way of enabling the reader to engage in the process of ‘doing theology’. The book will resource the reader with a number of exercises to help reflection.

The aim of these three books is to help individuals and groups to prepare for each of the lectionary Gospels. Each volume will open up how the Gospel writers explore faith, or mission, moral guidance, the proclamation of the Kingdom, our relationship to the world and the life of the Church.
They will invite the reader to make connections between the text and their own discipleship.
Each volume will be publishes in good time to be used for the next lectionary year.
